Delta Kappa maintains an excellent relationship with its Parents' Club. Families are invited and encourage to attend multiple events throughout the year; check out some of them below!

Events

New Member Brunch
Every Fall, we have a brunch at the house for the new members and their parents before an LSU football game. This is a great way for parents to learn about ZTA and all the different activities their daughters will now be a part of.

Homecoming Open House
On the day of the Homecoming football game, we host an open house to show off our lawn decor, provide food for guests, and show off rooms in the house.

Mother/Daughter Tea
Mothers and daughters come for a traditional tea in the Fall.

Daddy/Daughter Day
Members and their fathers enjoy a day full of traditional tailgating. In the past we have attended Baseball games and Gymnastics meets together, but this Spring we are excited to announce that we will be taking private tours of Tiger Stadium!

Family Crawfish Boil
Once a year, we invite all families to come to our open house for a crawfish boil. This includes mothers, fathers, siblings, and friends.

Formal

Crown Formal is a celebration of the academic year in late spring. New members wear white and enjoy a delicious meal with their dates and parents before awards are presented. Seniors are recognized and mothers or fathers present their new member daughters to the chapter.
